Your quadriceps — the four muscles on the front of your thigh — are the primary drivers of knee extension. They power squats, lunges, leg presses, and many lower-body movements. Quad training can support athletic performance, leg strength, and knee control, but it is not treatment for knee pain or injury. Our library includes compound movements like back squats and front squats, machine exercises like leg press and hack squat, and isolation work like leg extensions. We cover goblet squats for beginners, pause squats for experienced lifters, and single-leg work for balance and stability across different equipment setups.
