Built by Lifters, Powered by Science
MySetPlan exists because we got tired of apps that generate random workouts and call it a "personalized plan." We built what we wished existed: real programming, real periodization, real results.
Why We Built MySetPlan
Random workouts, random results
Free apps randomize your exercises every session. That is not programming. That is a workout generator pretending to be a plan.
Plateaus happen without progression
Without progressive overload built into your plan, you stop making gains. Most apps do not track it. We do.
Real coaching costs too much
Personal trainers cost $400-800/month. Structured programming that actually adapts to you should not require that budget.
Science-Backed Programming
Every MySetPlan program follows 4-week training blocks (called mesocycles). Your plan changes over time to keep you progressing — this is called periodization. Week one builds your foundation. Weeks two and three progressively increase intensity. Week four is a programmed deload (easy week) for recovery. Then we start the next cycle at a higher baseline.
This is not a random shuffle of exercises. It is the same periodization approach used by strength coaches and backed by exercise science research. Progressive overload is built into every plan. You do not have to figure out when to add weight or change exercises. The plan tells you.
Why Trust Us
MySetPlan was built by experienced lifters who study exercise science research so you do not have to. Every programming decision is backed by peer-reviewed studies on progressive overload, training volume, frequency, and periodization.
We do not generate random workouts. We build structured programs using the same principles that strength coaches use with their clients. The difference is you get it for $6.99/month instead of $400-800/month.
Our exercise library includes 200+ movements with video demonstrations and form cues. Our articles explain the science behind your training. We want you to understand why your plan works, not just follow it blindly.
